+++ Important MiniCon Announcements!!! +++
We hope everyone is having a great summer, and it is about that time of year where we let people know what the plans are for the next MiniCon.
Now, there will not be an event in January 2017 because we are planning a big (and I mean big!) reimagining of our successful show. The venue is going to be bigger, more room for displays, events, Bring and Buy, demonstration games, traders, clubs, competitions etc, still keeping the core values of what we stand for as an event, but on a bigger and more accessible scale.
MiniCon has been a superb event over the last five years, raising funds for very worthy local organisations in its current format, but it is so well established that it can do more. A lot more!
Fear not! We will not destroy everything that is great about the event, but we have taken the feedback from the previous years, added a lot of ambition and have come up with something a little bit special.
Everyone who has supported us over the last couple of shows have already provisional space held for them, with no commitment from you at this stage (Traders / Clubs / Businesses) and we will be in touch soon with details outlining the new look MiniCon.
If you have any questions, and I am sure there will be a few then email me at
chris@miniwargames.com
and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I want to thank everyone who has supported the event over the years and we are sure you are going to love the new look event. It is a little way off, but it is going to be awesome.
Keep rolling 6’s…..!

Hi
What is happening with regard to 2017. Looking to put on a Dragon rampart participation game.
Steve Cheltenham Wargames association. ...
So as the dust settles after a triumphant event (or events for a fair few of you this weekend!) I wanted to extend a warm hand of thanks to everyone who came to the 2016 MiniCon.
To the guys and girls from the companies and gaming clubs who provided all the shiny attractions, the visitors who attended and spent their time with us and my Com Padres Robey, Gary, Malcolm, Luke and Stewart, I salute you all.
I was lucky enough to get round and see you all, and have taken plenty of feedback and compliments about our great event, so we can promise an even better show next year! Finally, well done to this years MiniCon Monolith winners (trophies supplied by Wargames Terrain Workshop!)
Gold: Mark Toogood
Silver: Shaun Jewitt
Bronze: Mark Titley
Excellent stuff.......
I thank you again, stay in touch,
Chris. ...
